‘Home Town’ Erin & Ben Napier Tease Show’s Future
Erin and Ben Napier have become known to audiences through their HGTV series, Home Town. The series has seen a few spin-offs and has even reached eight seasons. However, the couple recently opened up about the show’s future.
Ben & Erin Napier Have Been Keeping Fans Updated On Home Town On Social Media
On Home Town, Ben and Erin are tasked with restoring homes in Laurel, Mississippi. With the two as a married couple in real life, the show occasionally touches on their family and their lives together.
The series recently premiered its eighth season early last year. In addition, the show has had a few spin-offs. This includes Home Town: Ben’s Workshop and Home Town Takeover.
In addition, fans have enjoyed updates from the couple through social media. Recently, as noted by Closer Weekly, the two shared an update concerning their future with HGTV.
In the accompanying photo, Erin and Ben posed for a selfie while holding up a clopboard. Assuring fans there was more to come from Home Town, the caption read, “New season starts filming today!”
As the publication noted, a January press release shared that the series “will be extended for 32 more episodes shooting through 2027.” Loren Ruch, HGTV’s Head of Content, shared, “Our collaboration with Ben and Erin has led to Home Town’s popularity with our key audiences and strong ratings performance every season.”
“This new deal will ensure fans get more of what they love about the series. Which is the Napiers’ charming relationship dynamic and passion for designing beautiful family homes in their small town.”
Home Town Also Celebrated A Big Milestone
Ben and Erin shared similar sentiments. As they noted in a joint statement, “The HGTV family is where we belong.”
“Shows are often impermanent but Home Town endures, we think, because it lives on a network that teaches and gives comfort to people. It’s more than pretty houses. That’s something we are proud to be part of.”

In addition, the show has celebrated its 100th episode. As a press release noted, “This season, they will complete an addition to expand a cramped lake house, face some unavoidable setbacks while trying to save a historic homestead and revisit a house they’ve previously renovated to make room for a growing family.”
On Instagram, Erin had shared, “Last night we got to celebrate the 100th episode of #HGTVHomeTown with most everyone who has ever been part of it. Hundreds of faces.”

“Only 2.5% of shows make 100 episodes. Ben pointed out this makes him basically the Tom Selleck to our Blue Bloods.”
On the more recent Instagram post, however, fans celebrated the news of the new season. A few fans also shared their excitement for the current season. Some comments included:
