On The Flip Off, Christina Haack brought Michael Lange and Kylie Wing onto her team. Fans were already familiar with the two, but found it interesting she didn’t pick other contractors she typically works with.
Now, viewers are asking questions online.
“What happened to James? And Mike (the contractor)? Does anyone know?” one HGTV fan asked on Reddit recently. They attached a screenshot from Christina Haack’s Instagram stories, revealing she and her crew just completed filming Christina on the Coast.
“And that’s a wrap on season 5!! New episodes of #christinaonthecoast begin airing on 2/27,” Christina posted to her Instagram stories. Although fans felt excited to see many familiar faces in the photo, they realized there were also many absent ones.

Of course, no one can say for sure what happened between Christina Haack and many of the contractors she used to work with. Unless someone from the team publicly speaks out, fans will have to speculate for the time being.
But many HGTV viewers suspect that Christina’s split from Josh Hall might have also soured her relationship with many of the team members. Other Redditors pointed out that her contractor James has been silent on social media since last summer.
Some noted that other members of the team, including Cassie, maintain ties to Josh and likely have no working relationship with Christina Haack any longer. The divorce has been wildly explosive thus far, so it’s not a stretch to believe that many contractors chose sides.
