‘Today’ What Savannah Guthrie Misses About Hoda Kotb As Co-Host
The Today Show Savannah Guthrie recently shared a few things she wasn’t going to miss about Hoda Kotb after her exit. However, Savannah and Hoda’s bond is very close. Now, she talks about what she misses most about her former co-host, Hoda Kotb, in her absence.

Over the past month, The Today Show has gone through many shifts. Although Savannah Guthrie has plenty of experience at the desk, she is missing her partner in crime, Hoda Kotb. But Craig Melvin and Savannah are finding their stride together. However, both have already been absent multiple times in the short time since Hoda exited. During the morning news, Savannah and Craig often report next to Carson Daly, Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones, and Willie Geist, but no one truly replaces Hoda.
What Savannah Guthrie Misses About Hoda Kotb As Co-Host
Now that some time has passed, The Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie reflects on what she misses about Hoda Kotb in the day-to-day work environment. While Carson Daly was sharing about the upcoming movie F1, one big difference came to light. Notably, F1 is a sports action drama based on Formula One racing. Furthermore, a few of the actors starring in the new film are Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, and Damson Idris. The preview shows it is a great choice for any adrenaline junky. It was full of slick cars speeding down the track. Playing in the background was Queen‘s “We Will Rock You,” and Brad Pitt was pushing the limits as he devoured the intense speed.
Notably, Carson Daly, Al Roker, and Willie Geist were all thrilled over the clip. Willie, who was filling in for Craig Melvin, gushed over the highlighted sport and cars. Likewise, Al and Carson can’t wait to see it on the big screen. However, amid the excitement at the table, Savannah Guthrie says, “Can I tell you, I’m really missing some lady energy right now.” Without Hoda alongside, she feels very outnumbered. Unmistakably, she could use her friend at the table.
Savannah Guthrie Seeks Out Another Female’s Opinion
Since The Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie didn’t have Hoda Kotb to lean on, she outsourced by talking with Jenna Bush Hager. While Jenna was waiting off to the side for her turn to deliver the Morning Boost, Savannah pulled her into the conversation. Although Savannah wasn’t too interested in the cars, she didn’t mind discussing Brad Pitt’s performance.
Addressing Jenna, she says, “Brad Pitt, can we just talk about him?” Jenna was happy to add to the girl talk. She said, “[Brad] never looked better.” But even Carson Daly, Al Roker, and Willie Geist could agree that Brad is a great actor. Savannah jokes, “And that’s what I take away…y’all are like, ‘Oh, the engines'” However, Carson replies, “He’s more than just man meat, Savannah.” But Savannah sticks to her observation. She looks at Jenna and asks, “Jenna, are you with me, queen?” Without hesitation, Jenna agrees, “I’m with you, 100%!”
Carson Daly let the audience know that F1 will be heading to theaters in the summer. He points out there is a little something for everyone, whether you enjoy “Brad Pitt or the cinematography.”

I no longer have interest in the show without Hoda. Savannah and Jenna are self absorbed where Gods was all about the guest. Craig is kind and a good choice, he would have been great with Hora had she stayed.
