‘Love Island All Stars’ Drama Sparks Over 2,000 Complaints

The latest season of Love Island: All-Stars has stirred up quite a bit of drama, especially after the finale of Season 2 aired on February 19. Following the episode, fans flooded Ofcom, the UK’s regulatory authority, with over 2,000 complaints. A majority of these complaints were about contestant Elma Pazar’s behavior, particularly during her arguments with fellow contestants Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Curtis Pritchard.
Elma And Ekin-Su Drama
The complaints began after two dramatic episodes earlier in the season. On February 11 and 12, viewers were especially upset, with 820 complaints following the February 11 episode and 1,347 complaints after the February 12 episode. The controversy stemmed from a heated argument that took place between Elma, Ekin-Su, and Curtis. The three got into a tense exchange during a challenge in which Elma questioned if she and Curtis were the weakest couple in the villa, angering Ekin-Su.

The situation escalated when Elma reminded Ekin-Su that she had kissed her partner, Sammy Root, in a heart-rate challenge. Ekin-Su had promised Elma she wouldn’t kiss anyone else, and this betrayal added fuel to the fire. The argument took a nasty turn when Elma told Curtis to “shut your mouth” and “f— off,” while Ekin-Su accused Elma of developing an ego after she was crowned the public’s favorite.
Elma’s behavior was seen as bullying by some viewers, which contributed to the large number of complaints sent to Ofcom. However, in a surprising twist, Elma later apologized to Curtis just one day before the finale. Showing that she was willing to make amends. Despite her fiery attitude in the heat of the moment. Elma admitted that Curtis was not her type and said she wasn’t interested in him romantically. She had initially refused to apologize but changed her stance as the season neared its end.
The Winning Couple Of The Show
Season 2 of Love Island: All-Stars began airing on January 15, bringing back popular contestants from past seasons of the UK version of Love Island. The cast included fan favorites like Luca Bish, Olivia Hawkins, Kaz Crossley, and Marcel Somerville. Host Maya Jama also returned to guide the contestants through their second chances at love. Each week, couples were tested with challenges and surprise twists, which led to plenty of dramatic moments.

After all the chaos, the season ended with an unexpected twist when Casey Gorman and Gabby Allen were crowned the winners of Love Island: All-Stars season 2. Despite all the complaints and controversy, the drama clearly helped keep viewers engaged throughout the season.
With so much tension in the villa, it’s clear that Love Island: All-Stars season 2 won’t be forgotten anytime soon. How do you feel about the Elma and Ekin-Su drama? Were you shocked by the winners? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
