7 Little Johnstons Fans Weigh In On Trent’s Future

  • Recently, one commenter said: “I get dementia runs in his family and he apparently hit his head a lot as a child or fell, but people do drugs their entire lives, have brain injuries and severe accidents and still don’t have brains as damaged as his. Why would it be so bad? His dad got dementia in his nineties – so if Trent’s brain is already in its eighties, he might be at risk in the next 5-10 years. How long can you live with dementia? It wouldn’t comfort to know my wife is so uncaring and burdened by my father that died from the same illness and I might have the same fate as well. It wouldn’t make me feel better to know she isn’t very supportive that way and he should make arrangements or plans just in case. If it gets bad and he can’t live at home where he would go, look into nursing companies that come to help at home and other treatments because id definitely want to be involved with that and not just leave it all to Amber. Because even if the kids don’t agree with her, he knows she will end up doing whatever she thinks is best.”

  • Another commenter said: “Since Trent is an LP, it could be his age combined with his stature (since LP folks tend to have bigger skulls). Could also be mold toxicity because they didn’t call in the right people to remediate the mold properly. Trent, however, being that dementia can be genetic, he might want to start monitoring for early stage dementia as well. But I would def look into mold toxicity in addition to that.”
