‘Price Is Right’ Surprise: Friends Win Cars And Cash

On Friday, February 14, The Price Is Right celebrated Galentine’s Day with a special episode that focused on women’s friendships. The show, known for its excitement and big prizes, created a heartwarming and fun-filled experience. The episode, which was packed with laughter, surprises, and wins, made viewers smile with its special tribute to friendship.
The Drewpremes Win Big
One of the highlights of the show was when three friends—Sharon, Linda, and Alana—played the game “1/2 Off.” They called themselves the “Drewpremes,” a nod to the famous singing group, The Supremes. In this game, contestants are shown 16 boxes, one of which contains a $30,000 prize. They are also shown two small prizes with prices attached. To narrow down the boxes, the contestants must figure out which price is half of the actual price of the small prize. This process happens three times, each time cutting down the number of boxes until only two boxes are left.

After playing through the rounds, the Drewpremes picked box number three, and they waited for the big reveal. However, a funny thing happened—model James O’Halloran accidentally dropped the box while trying to roll it toward them. The box fell and revealed the $30,000 prize inside before the official reveal! Host Drew Carey couldn’t stop laughing as he yelled, “Spill the beans!” and shared in the moment with the contestants.
Julie Wins A Car For Her Trio
Later, another group of friends—Julie, Krista, and Danika—played the game “One Wrong Price.” In this game, the contestants must figure out which car is priced incorrectly. If they guess correctly, they all win the car. Julie guessed that a Volkswagon was priced at $28,295, and the women were right! The Volkswagon’s actual price was $25,000, so the trio won the car. Drew Carey joked about the mishap with the model, George, saying, “We’ve already seen what happened with handsome people,” referencing the earlier mistake with James O’Halloran. But in the end, George kept things smooth, and the women went home with a new car.

While the Drewpremes had an exciting run, they ultimately didn’t win the Showcase. They bid $28,000 on a prize package that included designer robes, a living room set, and another car. However, they were over by $4,300, losing to the other team by just $1,300.
Fans of the show shared their excitement on social media, with many commenting on how special the episode was. One fan wrote, “That made me so happy to see. Congrats, y’all!” Another said, “This is what TPIR is all about.” It was clear that viewers loved the fun, heartwarming atmosphere of the episode, which perfectly captured the spirit of Galentine’s Day.
