But Joe didn’t give up and continued pursuing his goals. He eventually lost enough weight to qualify for bariatric surgery. He lost a total of 200 pounds after the show and parted ways with Dr. Now at 592 lbs.

What Happened To Joe?

It’s been some time since Joe Wexler last shared an update on social media. However, many of his most recent photos from 2024 indicate that he could maintain a healthy lifestyle. The My 600-Lb Life star has yet to share his current weight, but based on his pictures, he’s now somewhere below 400 pounds.

Joe also revealed in August 2024 that he’s been busy with work and family. He hasn’t had a lot of time for himself due to his new life after the show. But Joe revealed that he uses music to deal with all the stress. He even shared a video from one of his performances in 2022, along with over 700 trumpet players.

Joe Wexler also revealed that he’s still suffering from chronic pain due to his broken spine. He broke it in 2016 and never had the chance to treat it. Due to this, he constantly suffers from back pain, even during work. Regardless, the My 600-Lb Life star assures his followers that he’s now living his best life after losing so much weight, adding, “I recently went and purchased a brand new mower for my lawn so I could cut the grass and I felt accomplished because that’s the first time I ever bought a mower myself.”
