Since The Today Show co-anchor Hoda Kotb left, there has been a piece missing. Although Craig Melvin has made his transition without many hiccups, Jenna Bush Hager has been shopping around for her co-host. Jenna has had many great people visit during the fourth hour since Hoda’s exit. For instance, she sat next to a variety of people: Taraji P Henson, Keke Palmer, Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, Ciara, Ego Nwodim, and Wynonna Judd, to name a few. But now fans see one guest host who needs to be promoted to full-time with Jenna.

On February 18, Jenna & Friends fans thought that Jenna Bush Hager had found her new permanent co-host. When Jenna and Justin Sylvester were paired in the recent episode, fans thought it was electric. Many people recognize Justin as a former E! News correspondent. Likewise, he is currently the E! News anchor alongside Keltie Knight. After his studio makeover, Justin said he felt ready for anything. But J&J had great on-screen chemistry. They are both high energy, and the conversation batted back and forth naturally.
Justin Sylvester Is A Natural Ebb To Jenna Bush Hager’s Flow
Furthermore, Jenna & Friends fans liked that Justin Sylvester shared a funny story with Jenna Bush Hager. Justin was distracted and accidentally let a phrase slip while on the phone with someone he was “kinda dating.” Admittedly, Justin shares he said, “I love you. Catch you later.” Unfortunately, the sentiment caught the guy off guard. Justin recalls, “And he gasped, and I hung up the phone.” Jenna adds her lively sound effects, knowing how awkward something like this can be.
He adds, “Then he calls back, and I was like, ‘I can’t do this. You cannot say anything.” However, he retells, “He was like, ‘I love you too, and I was going to tell you that I love you as well.’” As if he was just chatting with his girlfriends, Jenna needed to know if they had broken up. But Justin shares they are still dating. In complete shock, Jenna says, “What? Justin, what is happening here?”
