‘The Masked Singer’: Who Is Ant?
Season 13 of The Masked Singer has just begun and the guesses are pouring in. The panelists, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, and Rita Ora are throwing out names but one person who may have been “unmasked.” There are a plethora of clues regarding Ant and it looks like the person under the costume might be figured out. The Masked Singer: Who Is Ant?
Every season on The Masked Singer, people from all genres dress up in elaborate costumes and give out a handful of clues. They will attempt to disguise their voice as best they can and the panelists along with the viewers will see if they can guess who the mystery person is. It’s fun to play the game of Clue because one never knows who is under the large headpiece. In Season 13, Ant was introduced. It is a sweet ant donning a dress and a hat.
In the premiere episode, Ant was part of Group A and their debut song was P!nk’s “Just Give Me a Reason.” Of course, the panelists were divided as to who it could be. They suggested names like Lea Michele, Lindsay Lohan, Kesha, and Ashanti. However, Gold Derby has narrowed it down to one person and it does come from that list. They believe it to be hitmaker and Grammy nominee, Kesha, and here is why. First off, the audio clue said that they had a heavy burden they carried. Hence that is why they were an ant because they are small but mighty.

Kesha has allegedly survived abuse at the hands of their producer but has been very vocal about this. That is when the next clue comes into play. When they performed, they sent a message:
“I’m really here on stage tonight for all the survivors. I see you. Anyone that has had to endure, I see you, I support you. Together, no one will ever stomp us out.”
This could have circled right back to the aforementioned abuse Kesha never backed down from. Finally, The Masked Singer had visual clues and Ant’s were these: picnic-inspired clothing, a dark road, a dollhouse, a candelabra, a tree with a red X, and a purple witch’s hat. Those all go with Kesha’s album, High Road plus she has alluded to being a witch.
Fans Weigh In
The clues definitely work in Kesha’s favor but what did The Masked Singer fans have to say? They weighed on and it was all over the map regarding who Ant was:
- I think this is Jojo or Lindsay Lohan or Leah Michelle
- Ant is Natasha Bedingfield
- I’m starting to think that the ant is Kesha
- sounding like Ashlee Simpson a lil bit
- I’m just watching the episode now and I immediately thought Selena Gomez. No way it’s not her!
There were a lot of viewers who thought it was Selena Gomez or Lindsay Lohan which would be a fun twist. This is going to be very interesting to who it ultimately is.
