Savannah Guthrie And Hoda Kotb Reunite During Florida Vacation

Savannah Guthrie recently had a heartwarming reunion with her former Today co-anchor, Hoda Kotb, while on vacation in Palm Beach, Florida. The two longtime friends and TV personalities bumped into each other during Guthrie’s family trip, and they shared a fun selfie that quickly caught the attention of fans.

In the Instagram post, Guthrie snapped a picture of herself with Kotb, her husband, Michael Feldman, and a few of Kotb’s friends, captioning it, “Oh and a bonus @hodakotb sighting for a little extra ☀️.” The picture instantly got fans excited, with many commenting on how much they missed Kotb and loved seeing the pair together again.

Along with the selfie, Guthrie shared more vacation photos on Instagram, showing her family enjoying the warm weather, the pool, and the beach. She talked about how they had a great time, enjoying more sunshine, drinks, and quality time together. Guthrie had taken a break from Today to go on vacation, missing a couple of episodes. However, she returned to the morning show on February 19, picking up where she left off.

At the same time, Kotb was also in Florida, spending time with her daughters, Haley and Hope. Kotb posted about a fun fishing trip with her girls, sharing how excited they were to catch fish, even though they threw them back. Kotb’s decision to leave Today in January 2024 was a major change, as she wanted to focus more on her family, especially as she turned 60. Kotb had been on the show for many years and decided it was time to step away to enjoy more time with her kids. Her exit was emotional, and Guthrie shared how sad she was to see her go but also supported her decision to move on.

Hoda Kotb’s Final Speech On Today

During Kotb’s final episode in January, she became emotional as she spoke about her friendship with Guthrie. “Savannah, oh, my God. You’re my person, my person,” Kotb said, showing how close they had become over the years. Guthrie also expressed her feelings, saying that Kotb was irreplaceable and that she was happy for her as she started this new chapter of her life.

Despite Kotb’s departure from Today, the two women have remained close. They reunited with their other Today co-anchor, Jenna Bush Hager, for a dinner after attending a Sunday Sitdown Live event in January. Guthrie shared another Instagram picture from that evening, calling it a “reunion – but never really apart ❤️.” Fans are glad to see that Guthrie and Kotb’s bond is as strong as ever, even though they no longer work together on the show.
