On Patrol: Live fans are slamming the show’s disrespect toward special guests. One of the biggest draws to the show is the officers who come to the studio and offer commentary or personal experience. On Patrol: Live Fans Slam Show’s Disrespect

It is always a treat when special guests come to the On Patrol: Live studio. They add something special and it is often beloved and fan favorite officers. More so, it gives even more personal insight into these rough and tough jobs that have captivated audiences. OPL has built a weekend community that gathers on social media to share meals, recipes, and adorable animals. They depend on the drama to keep them going throughout the week as well as the team that they look at like family. This past weekend, February 14th and 15th, was very special as Officer Linsay Zarick came to the studio.

She is from Wilkes-Barre but they left the show at the end of 2023. However, they stated that they hoped they would be back soon. With Linsay’s appearance, fans had hope that she was announcing their return. Unfortunately, they did not feel she and the other guest, Captain Kory Flowers, had much time. They were not spoken to enough and were unable to answer any real questions which was deemed disrespectful. Fans immediately jumped on Reddit to chat about it.

The OP shared this take on the situation:

  • I understand they have limited time for analysis and chit-chat, but why have guests at all if they’re not going to be allowed to speak? Linsay Zarick got about one minute of talk time over the whole weekend and Kory Flowers got about three or four. Why not defer to the guest(s) instead of going to Curtis when they’re on-set?

This makes a lot of sense that the guests should have more talk time as opposed to the regulator hosts. Did fellow On Patrol: Live fans feel the same?

A Downhill Slope

On Patrol: Live fans could not agree more and even felt the show was going downhill. Furthermore, it was noted how Officer Linsay Zarick could not even answer viewer questions so it was a waste of time. They questioned why even invite them if they could not speak:

  • I was utterly mystified as to why Ofcs. Zarick and Flowers were even invited to appear as guests since they spent the vast majority of their time doing nothing but sitting there.
  • Couldn’t agree more! The show is running fast downhill.
  • I like having guests too, but if they’re going to have them make them useful. Not to just sit there. It happens too often that they’re engaged with so minimally.

Some did not think guests were necessary as they did not add anything. As aforementioned, that could be because they are not allowed to speak much.

Did you notice this as a pattern with guests only getting minimal time? Is that disrespectful to boast about them joining and then act like they are not there? Let us know and watch On Patrol: Live Fridays and Saturdays on Reelz.
