Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman’s Daughter Says Dad Raped Her At Age 11
Lyssa Chapman, the daughter of Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, has made surprising allegations against her father. Lyssa has opened up about these claims. In addition, she’s also talked about various struggles she has faced throughout her life.
Lyssa Chapman Has Appeared On Her Father’s Shows
Lyssa is one of Dog’s twelve children, being the daughter of Chapman and his third wife Lyssa Rae Brittain.
In her professional career, Lyssa is known for working for her family’s bail bonds company. In addition, she has notably appeared on a few of her father’s reality series. She has also notably talked about her story in her memoir, Walking on Eggshells.
As noted by Meaww, Lyssa became pregnant when she was just 14 years old, giving birth the day after her 15th birthday. Speaking with Fox News, Lyssa shared how hard this was, even touching on a surprising claim she made against her father.
As Lyssa recalled, “I got pregnant at 14. I gave birth the day after my 15th birthday. Right after I had the baby my mom moved with her boyfriend…At one point it was just me and my daughter and I was coming up with $500 rent every month by babysitting.”
At one point, Lyssa reveals she had accused her father Duane of raping her at the age of 11. However, she later recanted this, though she still claimed something traumatic had happened to her.
Lyssa noted, “I [falsely] accused my father of raping me when I was 11. I had been molested by a friend of his. It was a horrible life that I never wanted to go back to, living with him and Beth and the fighting and the drugs. When I got to my mother’s, although she drank, it was much more peaceful.”
Lyssa Also Touched On What Her Relationship With Her Father Is Like Since Then
As she previously noted, Lyssa’s claims against her father made it hard for her to go to him for help. She noted, “Because of my accusations against him I really felt he thought I was a threat. Everything he had built he didn’t want me to hurt. I had pretty much broken the cardinal rule as far as the Chapman family went and I was written off.”
At the time, however, Lyssa revealed that she’s in a much better place with her father. As she revealed, “I have a great relationship with my Dad, as healthy as we can be. I love him with all of my heart, I have my challenges with his wife but I love my family.”

“I feel like at the time he did the best he could do. He was really addicted to drugs and really couldn’t get off them. He was doing the best that he could at the time. Being a parent and the struggles with drugs that I went through and what I put my children through… the point of the story is people have problems and sometimes their young children get caught in the middle of their problems.”
