Baylen Dupree Wants To Be More Independent
Baylen Dupree has Tourettes syndrome. This causes her to have tics. She will move her body uncontrollably or say things that she would not say if she could control it. However, this has altered her ability to live on her own. Baylen is engaged to Colin Dooley. The two have been together for a while. However, they want to get a place on their own. Baylen’s parents were not too thrilled about the idea due to them being concerned about Baylen’s safety. Especially in places like the kitchen. However, Baylen has made it clear that she is ready to grow up and move out of her parent’s home.
She Struggles To Find Apartment Due To Tics
Baylen Dupree and Colin Dooley have been shown going apartment hunting. However, this did not go as planned. While they were looking at an apartment, it was made known that it had a balcony. Baylen immediately goes and makes obscene comments over the railing of the balcony. However, this is not her fault. Unfortunately, the apartment was on a busy street and by a gas station. This made her parents uncomfortable with her having a balcony as some people may not like what she has to say. So, her parents put their foot down and said wherever they move cannot have a balcony.
Some fans feel as though her parents are holding her back. However, others know that they are just trying to protect her and they are worried about her safety. Colin has made it clear that he will do everything he can to take care of and protect Baylen.

It seems as though Baylen cannot live somewhere with a balcony. She was not there very long before yelling obscene things off the edge of the balcony. However, it is not her fault and she cannot control it. Her parents are just worried for her safety as she is yelling obscene things that some people may not like.
