Will Kayla Wallace And Kevin McGarry Star In Another Hallmark Movie Together?
Hearties know that Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry met on the Hallmark When Calls The Heart set. Although their characters occasionally interacted on WCTH, they have starred as love interests in two movies for the network. They obviously loved working together. Could there be more movies?
In a recent interview, Kevin shared whether they will be doing a Hallmark movie anytime soon.
Will Kayla Wallace And Kevin McGarry Together Star In A Hallmark Movie Again?
Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace had a very Hallmark-like romance. They met on the set of the network’s longest running series When Calls The Heart. In addition to the series, they starred in the 2022 movie Feeling Butterflies. In this movie, Kayla plays Emily, a woman who has a butterfly business. Kevin portrays Garett, whose daughter loves butterflies. He helps her with her business, but more happens. They fall for each other.
Also in 2022, the couple starred in My Grown Up Christmas List. This Christmas In July holiday movie is about Taylor, and her prefect guy, Luke, who is in the military. The two are falling for each other, but he has been deployed.
Now that it has been almost three years, could the couple star in another movie together? Kevin recently spoke to Swooon who asked him about this. He shared some news that may disappoint Hearties. “We love working together. I think it’s just more right now, Kayla’s kind of got her own trajectory, going in a different direction, and I think she wants to focus on that.”
I’d never say never. But, like I said, she’s a busy lady right now, and she’s got prior commitments.
This is why Kayla was not in When Calls The Heart Season 11 for more than a short cameo. Her career has taken off.
Kevin McGarry Is Proud Of His Wife’s Career Accomplishments
Although it is very disappointing that Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry are not going to star in a Hallmark movie anytime soon, he is very proud of her accomplishments. Kayla stars in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series Landman. Kevin has plenty to say about his new wife’s performance on the series. She portrays hard-hitting lawyer Rebecca Falcone.
I knew she had that side in her. I saw the side she’s doing, but she’s absolutely killing it. She’s fantastic. Everyone on that show is fantastic. I’m very proud of her. She deserves all of this and I’m also enjoying watching Landman, too.
Although he did not share what is keeping Kayla too busy to go on a honeymoon, it appears that joining this Paramount+ series has really propelled Kayla’s career to new heights.
Hearties may want to be aware that Kayla is in several episodes of When Calls The Heart Season 12. Her character Fiona Miller has a big decision to make.
