HGTV Star Ben Napier Reveals New Career Path
Ben and Erin Napier are a husband-and-wife team known for their work with HGTV, such as Home Town and the spinoff, Home Town Takeover. However, in a recent share with fans, Ben talked about a new ambition of his. Notably, this comes out after the couple has a lot to celebrate.
Ben & Erin Napier Have A Lot Of Projects Beyond Home Town
On the series, Ben and Erin bring new life to old and historical homes and places within their Mississippi small town. All the while, the two must balance their family life.
Fans of the Home Town series have also recently received good news. The series was recently renewed for 32 more episodes. This will see the series will through 2027. Currently, the show is in its ninth season.
The original series first came out in 2016. Since then, it has had a few spin-offs. Between 2021 to 2023, the series saw the spin-off, Home Town Takeover. In 2021, there was also the single-season Home Town: Ben’s Workshop.
In a statement with TV Insider, the couple shared in a statement, “The HGTV family is where we belong.” They continued, ”Shows are often impermanent but Home Town endures, we think, because it lives on a network that teaches and gives comfort to people.”
“It’s more than pretty houses. That’s something we are proud to be part of.”
Loren Ruch, HGTV’s head of content, also shared, “Our collaboration with Ben and Erin has led to Home Town’s popularity with our key audiences and strong ratings performance every season. This new deal will ensure fans get more of what they love about the series, which is the Napiers’ charming relationship dynamic and passion for designing beautiful family homes in their small town.”
However, the publication also recently talked about other career ambitions the two have. The two run mutlople business ventures, such as Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co.
Ben Shared A Lot Of Interests When His New Ambition
The couple have naturally also undertaken individual projects. Erin has written books and Ben has recently revealed an interest in podcasts.
Recently on Instagram, Ben shared that, “We will start filming again soon, but I am wanting to do something different! I am wanting to do some podcast interviews.”

“Today is my brother Tom’s birthday and he told me that we should start being guests on podcasts since it’s all he listens to on the road. So, if you’ve got a podcast or know of one we should do, shoot me a DM.”
Ben also included a long list of topics he’d like to be interested in. This included, “Cars, Art, Houses, Small towns, Gardening, Manufacturing, American Made, Florida, Mississippi, Food, Paint colors, Wood, working, Cellular phones, Social media, Parenting, Christmas, Duke, and Ole Miss.”
Taking to the comments, many fans shared their support. A few even suggested podcasts Ben should appear on. Others think Ben should take a more direct role and start his own podcast. Some comments included:
