Fox News Star Shares Her Cruel Abuse Over Pregnancy
It seems that when some people become public faces, there are people who feel they can publically demean them. This is true of actors, musicians, athletes, and even news anchors. There is one Fox News star who has opened up recently about the online hate and abuse she has received since she showed her belly while pregnant.
Here is a look at what happened and why it is such a horrifying moment.
Fox News Anchor Faces Online Abuse During Pregnancy
A Fox News personality named Kat Timpf has opened up about the online hate and abuse she had to endure after she showed off her belly while she was pregnant. She said that the abuse was widespread, and it included both Fox News viewers and Democrats alike.
Kat, 36, said she was shocked when she received online abuse after she announced her pregnancy on social media last July (via The U.S. Sun). Kat is a Fox News analyst and the co-host of Gutfeld! While she is used to people bashing her online thanks to her political views, she was shocked they targeted her for choosing to start a family with Cameron Friscia.
“You know what’s crazy? I really thought that being pregnant would make people be nicer to me but people are meaner to me now,” Kat said. The Fox News analyst said things got really bad when she showed off her stomach in a podcast episode. She appeared on Barstool Sports’ Out and About in October 2024.
Why Did Kat Show Off Her Belly On Podcast?
Kat showed off her belly in the podcast for a very personal reason. She said that she remains self-conscious about showing her belly at all. She has a scar from a previous ileostomy surgery. She admitted it’s a “big thing for me to be okay with showing that.”

“That’s more important to me than people who are going to be horrified,” Kat admitted. However, she said that people started trolling her hard online and began to send cruel abuse her way after the podcast. She said that the comments made it sound like showing her belly was like “pillaging and burning down a village.”
When she posted a video clip, some fans bashed her for her appearance:
- “Love your personality Kat. Call me old fashion, why is it so important to sit unlady like? Tummy hanging out, and dressed sloppy.”
Kat responded, “Why is it important for you to leave this comment? In any case I’m proud of myself for being more comfortable with my ostomy scar and I happen to love this outfit! Hope people are nice to you today.”
Kat also said the abuse comes from Conservatives and Liberals. “I get it from both sides because if I say something that viewers dont wanna hear on Fox… I’ll get it from them sometimes,” she said. “But then I’ll get it from the other side because I work at Fox in the first place.”
