Ryan Seacrest can’t seem to win over a sect of Wheel of Fortune fans. It seems that these fans will find everything Ryan does annoying, and they will point it out. This week, Ryan revealed the prize for the Bonus Round, and fans saw a reason to consider his pattern “robotic.”

Here is a look what Ryan did that has some fans seething.

Ryan Seacrest Called ‘Robotic’ In Bonus Rounds

The Bonus Round is the last puzzle of each game on Wheel of Fortune. Here, the game’s champion can win a big money prize if they guess the last puzzle correctly. The player spins the wheel and hands Ryan the envelope it winds up on. Their possible prize is in that folder.

These prizes can be anything up to $100,000. However, they don’t see the prize until the puzzle is won or lost. After the puzzle, Ruan will open the envelope and show the total – whether the player wins or loses it. This is where fans are not happy with Ryan’s cadence.

One fan headed over to Reddit to complain about how Ryan revealed the final prize amount. They want to know why Ryan takes a dramatic pause before he reveals the amount – even though it is the smallest possible prize.

  • “Who does that? it’s so anticlimactic. it makes you think they won a big amount instead of the least they could possibly win.”
  • “It makes me think even more that he’s a robot that has no actual human emotions.”
  • “Attempt at being dramatic, but just comes across as awkward.”
  • “He has the exact wrong instincts for every facet of this job.”

Ryan Seacrest Only Made Small Pause On Monday’s Episode

This Reddit post came after Monday’s episode, where a contestant won $40,000. The man guessed the puzzle right and won the lowest prize – which is still a lot of money for anyone to win on a game show.

Matt was given the letters “R, S, T, L, N,” and “E.” Ge then chose his letters – “B, G, H,” and “A.” They were great letters to choose, as they gave him the following puzzle. “-‘- / ALL / TH–BS.” Matt got “I’m all thumbs” in less than a second and won the puzzle.

The man was smiling and clapping, and Ryan opened the envelope and said, “And…” before slowly showing Matt the $40,000 prize. From the time Matt solved the puzzle to the moment that Ryan turned the card, four seconds passed in real-time. Matt was ecstatic, and Ryan was smiling and calling his family over to join Matt.

It was a huge moment as Matt won $56,350 in cash and prizes, and everyone seemed happy. Did you think Ryan was too slow in revealing it, or are people just finding reasons to nitpick him? Let us know in the comments below.
