‘The Masked Singer’ Sneak Peek Teases Who Paparazzo Could Be

The rule of the game on The Masked Singer is guessing just who the voice behind each costumed character is. Recently, the identity of Paparazzo has been the subject of speculation, with some trying to uncover his hidden star. According to a recent teaser, one of the judges has already made their guess.

Season 13 Is Already Teasing One Singer’s Star Power

The Masked Singer is an American remake on the South Korean series, King of Mask Singer. On the show, various celebrities appear each season to showcase their singing talent.

The twist, however, is that they hide their identities through elaborated masked costumes. As each contestant is eliminated, they must reveal who they are to the audience.

With the upcoming thirteenth season, one new costumed character set to join the show is Paparazzo. As the name suggests, he resembles a giant camera.

As noted by TV Insider, this season will see Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg return as panelists. In a recent clip, Jeong thinks he already knows who Paparazzo could be.

The Masked Singer Will Pay Tribute To Shrek & Ghostbusters This Season

After listening to a clues package and his performance, Jeong proclaimed, “I know exactly who this is. This is Kieran Culkin of Succession, and the connection to Steve Martin is Father of the Bride.” The clip even briefly showed Culkin’s head appearing over Paparazzo’s head.

Robin Thicke replied, “Oh, right,” suggesting he thinks Jeong is on to something. However, McCarthy Wahlberg still asked, “But can he sing, Ken?” In turn, Jeong replied, “He’s an Emmy winner. He can do it all.”

In addition to Succession and Father of the Bride, Culkin has had a variety of notable acting roles over the years. Starting his career as a child actor, he appeared alongside his brother Macaulay during the Home Alone movies. He also notably appeared in She’s All That, The Cider House Rules, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

During the season, the show will also notably commemorate various franchises, like in movies and music. This includes Shrek, Ghostbusters, and even the Rat Pack. There will even be a tribute to the 100th anniversary of The Grand Ole Opry

Admittedly, the series probably wouldn’t spoil who the star behind Paparazzo this early. However, there is such a thing as hiding in plain sight.

In the end, only time will tell just who is who on The Masked Singer. The Season 13 premiere is on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
