‘The View’ Sara & Sunny Pressure Whoopi Goldberg To Spill ‘Secret’
The View moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, was operating as usual on the show, but Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin, put extra pressure on her. When Whoopi Goldberg was trying to talk about Ariana Grande, Sara and Sunny couldn’t help but pester her to spill her “secret.”

On Tuesday, February 11, edition of The View, moderator, Whoopi Goldberg, and the other panelists discussed Joy Behar’s new show. They invited fans to check out My First Ex-Husband productions. Additionally, the panel discussed President Trump’s administration and various other things happening in the world. But Whoopi attempted to move on to a hot topic about Ariana Grande who is an Oscar nominee. However, Sara Haines begs her, “Oh no, don’t do that.” Then, she adds, “You have something to share with the group you did not tell us about.” Although Whoopi Goldberg was proceeding as usual, Sara revealed, that Whoopi was sitting on a big secret.

When The View‘s Sara Haines asked Whoopi Goldberg to stop what she was doing, she alluded to a secret that Whoopi was hiding. However, the panel chimes in, “We heard,” letting her know the cat was already out of the bag. Additionally, Sara adds, “Yes, we heard from someone else.” Whoopi was hesitant to redirect. But Sunny Hostin jumps in, “Yeah, Whoopi, you kept it a secret.”
Sara pokes about needing to find out everything online. Then, she adds, “I thought we were friends.” Joy interjects, “Come on, spill it!” Sunny flatly says, “Just spill it, Whoopi.” Even though Whoopi wasn’t ready to tell, after the panelists laid on the pressure, she divulged, “I’m presenting at the Oscars.” After which, the audience roars with excitement. And Joy jokes, “Now, I’ll watch it.” Since the beans were already spilled, Whoopi Goldberg formally announced her selection to present at the 2025 Oscars on X following the live show’s reveal.
Whoopi Goldberg Returns To The Oscars
This isn’t Whoopi Goldberg’s first Oscars presentation. However, it has been nearly ten years since she was on the grand stage to help hand out the Oscars for the Academy Awards. She was last there for the 88th Oscars in 2016, where she presented the Honorary Academy Awards and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Since Whoopi’s co-star from Ghost, Demi Moore, is predicted to win Best Actress for her role in The Substance, many people suspect Whoopi may be taking part in the handoff. Furthermore, she has plenty of experience since she hosted the Oscars four times previously. These include shows airing in 1994, 1996, 1999, and 2002.
