Melissa Roxburgh Talks About Returning To ‘Tracker’ Season 2
In Tracker, Season 1, fans were introduced to Colter Shaw and the tragedy of his father. As the season progressed, he met up with his sister Dory, portrayed by Melissa Roxburgh. However, after seeing her, and solving one case, more questions began to arise. However, it was later in the season that Justin Hartley’s character learned that Dory was keeping some pretty big secrets.
Since then, fans of the CBS adventure series have waited for answers. Will Melissa return this season so that Colter can peel more layers to this family mystery?
Is Melissa Roxburgh Returning For Tracker Season 2?
Manifest alum Melissa Roxburgh has been busy promoting her new NBC series The Hunting Party. However, when TV Line caught up with her, they had to ask if she was returning for Tracker Season 2. The next episode is the ninth of 22 total. Moreover, they are filming in the Vancouver area until mid-April. Could that mean she may return to reprise her role as Dory?
I hope so. It was such a good set and Justin’s obviously wonderful, so I hope Dory makes a reappearance. There’s a lot of different ways they could go with the character.
While audiences have some questions about her character, Melissa also has some big questions that she wants to see play out. “Dory has some secrets.” Everyone from Colter to the viewers wants that answer. Roxburgh has more. “She’s not being forthcoming about things, so I want to know what happens there, and I want to know what happened to the Dad…all those answers.”
Melissa Roxburgh Has A Wish For A Future Episode
Not only does Melissa Roxburgh want to delve into Dory’s past in a future episode of Tracker, but she also wants a family reunion. She wants Jensen Ackles to reprise his role as Russell and do a scene with the three Colter siblings.
One of my first jobs was with Jensen, on Supernatural. So, it’d be a nice ‘full circle’ moment.
Roxburgh was referring to her 2012 role as Lila. Her wish to have a full-circle moment could certainly help Colter understand what happened to their father. Moreover, some of his recent cases are opening up some possibilities on what happened to their father Ashton Shaw.
