‘Deal or No Deal Island’ Maria-Grace Cook Working For Old Rival
During a recent episode of Deal or No Deal Island, things got heated between Maria-Grace Cook and a reality television vet after he eliminated her from the show. However, since then, the two appeared to have patched things up. In fact, Cook revealed that she’s now working for her former onscreen nemesis.
Maria-Grace Cook Had A Few Choice Words After Being Eliminated On Deal or No Deal Island
Cook appeared during the show’s second season. On the season’s fifth episode, which aired on February 4, Cook was eliminated by a contestant who just joined the show.
This was reality television personality Will Kirby. Also known as Dr. Will, Kirby is an aesthetic dermatologist. However, over the years, he’s become well-known through his television appearances. Notably, he won the second season of Big Brother back in 2001.

Since then, Kirby has had a variety of notable television appearances, from The Price is Right to The Young and the Restless. He recently joined Deal or No Deal Island during its second season. Notably, he joined in the second episode, becoming a regular contestant the following episode.
As noted by Us Weekly, Cook had some less-than-kind words for Kirby following her elimination. However, the publication reported she has since started working for his dermatology company, LaserAway.
during her time on the show, cook was blindsided by cook choosing her for elimination. As she shared, “Will is just garbage as a person. It’s not just a character or an act, he truly is not a good person.”
However, Cook has since revealed that Kirby reached out to her once the season finished filming. As she noted, “I got an email, and he was like, ‘If you want a job, I’ll give you a job and you’ll make money and you could move to LA.’ “So I did, and I just ended up watching all the episodes with him, including last night.”
Kirby Isn’t The Only Deal or No Deal Island Co-Star Cook Kept In Touch With
Cook also revealed something that did not make it into the final show. Prior to her elimination, she had actually asked him for a job while on the show together.
As Cook noted, “We had multiple conversations in the game, but [being] friends isn’t for reality TV. But he tells me that he has a really good company, he could set me up with a job because I was trying to transition out of the fire department EMS. I never thought that was true.”
Cook also highlighted Kirby as being a different person than the persona he portrays on television. As she put it, Dr. Will as Dr. Will, he is a garbage person,” but said he was not like that “outside in the real world.”
Reportedly, Kirby was not the only cast-member Cook kept in contact with once the season wrapped up. She also reportedly apologized to Dickson Wong for calling him a “dumbass.”
At the time, this was a reaction to Wong eliminating Storm Wilson, her “showmance” partner. As she shared, “I love you, Dickson, I’m sorry,’ but in that moment he kind of deserved it.”
