With The Voice known for having a panel of famous coaches every single season, fans of the show may be shocked to see just how much the program shells out to keep these famous celebs on the coaching roster. So, how much does it cost to keep a star-studded panel of coaches year after year?
The Voice Fans Stoked With The Return Of Adam Levine
One of the reasons that The Voice fans are super stoked for Season 27 of the popular reality singing competition is because, in addition to bringing with it a new batch of singing hopefuls, this season of the program also marks the return of fan-favorite and OG judge, Adam Levine.
Adam helped start it all, and helped build The Voice into the juggernaut of a show that it is today. So, when it was announced that he would be making a return, this was huge news. However, it’s not just nostalgia that makes this return worth it for Adam. According to the latest estimates, Adam has been paid $14M to $16M per season.
Blake Shelton Was Paid A Pretty Penny Too
Another OG The Voice judge who made a killing from the show’s paycheck is Blake Shelton. Back in 2016, Blake was pulling in $13M per season. However, once he and Gwen Stefani got together and were both on the show, they were able to negotiate some huge bonuses.
Of course, The Voice fans loved watching their relationship dynamic bloom on The Voice, which is where things started for the husband and wife pair. When Gwen first appeared as a coach on the program, she was taking home a respectable $10M per season. However, as her dynamic with Blake grew, so did the money, as she brought home as much as $13M for later seasons.

Over the course of its 27 seasons so far, The Voice has had a lot of famous people occupy the coaching chairs. They are all titans in the music industry and hugely successful. So, it makes sense that they would command a huge price tag to appear on the show. While each coach has been paid something different, all salaries have been in the millions.
