Bachelor alum and now ex of Matt James Rachael Kirkconnell is working on moving past her breakup and looking toward the future. She was with Matt for four years before he suddenly ended their relationship saying she had qualities he couldn’t see in his future wife.
She was blindsided by it all including his shocking post on Instagram just three hours after their split. Many initially believed it was Rachael who ended things. However, she went on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she revealed it was all Matt who ended their relationship.
She now did another interview with Cosmopolitan in which she shared an update on how she’s coping with the breakup. Rachael said she’s doing okay. It sounds as though she’s working on keeping herself busy. She’s even taking a girls trip to Las Vegas for Valentine’s Day.
Along with how she’s coping, Rachael also shared that she has no intentions of taking Matt back. He is also distancing himself from the situation and announced that he bought a one-way ticket to Kenya.
Rachael is also looking toward the future and what she wants in a man. What exactly is she hoping her next partner will be? Rachael said, “I honestly just want him to be a simp.”
What exactly is a simp? According to online sources, a simp is someone who is overly attentive and shows a lot of emotion. It sounds like Rachael wants someone to spoil her and cater to her every need so to speak. She wants to be the priority in a relationship.
