‘Gold Rush’ Parker Schnabel’s Shocking Game-Changing Move Could Save Season

Gold Rush Season 15 has shown Parker Schnabel struggle at Dominion Creek. The Discovery star was determined to mine 10,000 ounces this season from his pricy piece of gold-rich land. However, now at the midpoint of the gold mining season, it seems that this talented group cannot get the gold that they expected.
However, in the most recent episode, Parker made a game-changing move that could save this season. What did Parker do?

Gold Rush Star Parker Schnabel’s Big Mid-Season Change
Parker Schnabel made a huge game-changing mid-season move on the most recent episode of Gold Rush Season 15. According to TV Insider, reminded fans that he is only one-fifth of the way to his 10,000-ounce goal. Calling Dominion Creek a “money pit,” fans of the hit gold-mining series have watched the crew find success at Indian River.
However, this week, Parker decided to pivot. Gathering up his core team of Chris Doumitt, Mitch Blaschke, and Tyson Lee, Parker told the trio that he made a purchase for a mere $2.5 million, he purchased 3 miles of Gold Run and 1 mile of Sulphur Creek. When asked if he purchased the dirt, Parker confidently replied, “The whole company.” He is all in!
Using his wry wit, Parker said, “We’ll see if it’s congratulations or condolences.” The camera showed the expressions of the the three men as Parker also shared that one of these cuts was getting 10 ounces of gold per hour. It has been a long time since this team has seen that. Dominion has made them forget the old glory days.
The looks on their faces showed some concern at the hefty price tag. But, Parker has admitted he has “embraced the debt.” This is quite a change from when he bought Dominion Creek and was not as calm about what was next. This is a gold-rich area that has been mined for over 100 years. Nonetheless, it is still coming up with good gold. Now, the team has to prepare for these changes.
After that, they had to move Bob 25 miles. That is quite a haul for the washplant. Yet, this was necessary to be ready for action.

Ken and Stuart’s place was 98.80 ounces. This weight in also had the first Sulphur Creek gold. With just two days mining there, the weigh in was an astonishing 141.65 ounces. The team can now imagine what a full week of gold could be!
