‘Swamp People’ Spoilers: Team Pushed To Dangerous Limits

Swamp People has a new episode coming next week that looks to push the hunters to their limits. While the alligator hunters in Louisiana always have danger all around them, this next episode brings the danger even harsher into their boats. The hunters face some extreme weather that threatens to ruin their catch.
Here is what fans can expect from the next episode of the HISTORY Channel reality TV series.
Swamp People Facing Unnatural Weather Conditions
The next Swamp People episode will hit on February 13 and is titled “Bayou Broiler.” As the title suggests, things are about to heat up for the gator hunters as they traverse the Louisiana bayous, looking to hit their quota and load up on their catches.

This is the sixth episode of Season 16. According to the synopsis, the gator hunters are in the middle of one of the hottest seasons in a long time. Troy and Pickle are the two gator hunters who the episode will see trying to survive this extreme heat. They will have to move their boat into the shaded lines on the edge of Lake Verret.
The reason for this is that they want to protect their catch from the sweltering sun. However, they also are doing it to protect themselves from heat stroke or exhaustion. The synopsis goes on to say that the duo will “showcase their determination and skill as they navigate the bayou, all while battling the elements.”
The description also indicates that the episode will demonstrate how challenging it is to hunt gators in extreme heat.
Swamp People In The Middle Of Season 16
“Bayou Broiler” is the sixth episode of Swamp People Season 16. The first five episodes have seen the gator hunters planning to reach their quota. This season has a lot of footage already of Troy and Pickle, who became the biggest stars on the show.

Leron and Porkchop are another team, and the hunters have had to deal with a lot more than just extreme heat. In the third (“Chaos Before The Storm”) and fourth (“Hurricane Francine”), the show’s stars had to deal with the coming hurricane and find a way to catch their alligators while surviving the storm.
On top of Troy Landry and Pickle, the sixth episode will feature several other major stars. Also on tap is footage of Junior Edwards, Chase Landry, Jacob Landry, R.J. Malinere, Willie Edwards, Jay Paul Molnere, and Bruce Mitchell.
Swamp People Season 16, Episode 6, “Bayou Broiler,” airs on the HISTORY Channel on Thursday, February 13, at 8/7c.
