Rachael Kirkconnell Gives New Update, Taking Matt James Back?
Rachael Kirkconnell is starting to get back out into the world following her shocking split from Bachelor Matt James. She is actually planning a trip with friends to Las Vegas for Valentine’s Day. Ahead of that epic trip, she is sharing an update with fans about how she is coping with the breakup and if she has any plans to take him back if he pursues it. What did Rachael have to say? Rachael Kirkconnell Shares Update On How She’s Doing Post Split
Rachael Kirkconnell has been the lady of the hour following her split from Matt James. The former Bachelor did her dirty when he decided to post their breakup on social media just three hours after he dumped her. She spilled this and a lot more tea on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
After sharing her truth, fans began to turn on Matt and offer more support to Rachael. Many were worried she may try and rekindle their romance at some point. After all, the couple had been together for four years and were talking about an engagement and their future together.
Now, in a new update, Rachael spoke with Cosmopolitan where she shared how she’s coping and if she could take Matt back.
Rachael said, “Vibes are high at this exact moment—I’ve had a great day at the Amazon staycation, and we’ve just been doing lots of girlie things, getting ready, hanging out, looking at some new products. But yeah, I’m okay right now.”
She went on to say that her support system is amazing. She’s also had some of the girls from her season of The Bachelor reach out to check on her as well.
Rachael was asked where she is in the breakup journey to which she said, “Ooh, I don’t know. Is there, like, five stages of grief for that? I would honestly say that I’m…I don’t know if it’s shock, but I don’t think I’ve registered it still. It’s only been a few weeks, but I’m definitely in that phase of just, like, still trying to grasp everything and figure out a new normal.”
Will She Take Matt James Back Again?
Another huge question on everyone’s minds is whether or not Rachael Kirkconnell would take Matt James back. In short, her answer is no. Rachael said she would not let herself go back after everything that went down.
As for Matt, he went to Instagram on Friday to announce that he bought a one-way ticket to Kenya. He also started revamping his Instagram page and changing thumbnails from pictures of Rachael to photos of himself.
Plus, he deleted their breakup post.
