There has been some collateral damage to Wendy Williams losing her freedom and having control of her finances stripped of her by her guardian. Here is what you need to know about Kevin’s problems.

Wendy Williams’ Son Faces Hardship In Florida

Wendy Williams’s son, Kevin Jr., has received his second eviction notice since his mother was placed in a long-term care facility, and her court-assigned guardian took over her assets. It seems that Wendy had always paid for Kevin’s rent, and once all her money disappeared under her guardian’s care, he had to pay his own bills.

It seems he is struggling with that. It seems that he received an eviction notice on January 28 after failing to pay his rent. This is his second eviction notice at this address and his third since he started living in Florida. The court records also revealed that Kevin “failed to pay rent due through the month of January.”

Kevin’s rent is $3,731 monthly, and the property manager said he owed $4,316. He was told to pay the rent or move out. The property manager made a voluntary dismissal on February 3, meaning that Kevin Jr. likely paid his back rent. However, Wendy paid Kevin’s rent every month until she lost control of her money to her guardian.

Wendy Williams’s Son Accused Of Immaturity

A source close to the family said, “Kevin really needs to get his s**t together” (via The U.S. Sun). This source states, “He is a grown man, and there’s no excuse for him not paying his rent.” Kevin moved into this specific property in November 2023.

In 2022, Kevin Jr. ended up evicted from his $2 million apartment for failing to pay his rent. That came right after New York courts placed his mother in a financial conservatorship. Wendy was no longer able to help her son. Her guardian took over her money, and then it all disappeared.

The guardian claims that Wendy is now broke. Friends and family have shown concern about where Williams’ millions of dollars went after the guardian took control of the money. However, Kevin Jr. is 24. The source close to the family feels he is old enough to support himself.

Wendy’s family is currently fighting to help her regain her freedom. They want her to return to Florida to live with them.
