My 600-Lb Life: Dr. Now Continues To Prove He’s Far From Retirement
Dr. Now recently took to IG Stories to show how committed he is to his career despite his age. The My 600-Lb Life star attended a conference for bariatric surgeons in Texas, where he tried some of the most advanced technologies in the medical field today. One of them was a robot used for surgery. It appears Dr. Now wanted to test it out for his future operations, indicating that he’s not hanging up his scalpel anytime soon.

TLC has yet to share if Dr. Now will film another season, especially now that he’s also working with Lifetime for his new show, 6000-Lb Diaries. Many fans predict that the My 600-Lb Life franchise will continue under a new surgeon if Dr. Now retires. The 13th season has already featured six patients. The seventh episode will feature the story of Pastor Juan, who’s struggling to serve his congregation due to his weight.
