Barry Plath was gaining acceptance of their relationship. Micah Plath is considering an engagement to his girlfriend, Veronica Peters. But no wrap-up was made by TLC that seemed like it was closing out the show forever.

However, notably, the network hasn’t announced they are canceling the series either. Furthermore, some discussions point to the idea that Season 7 is already in the making.

There was another Redditor who spilled details on Moriah Plath’s alleged boyfriend, Matthew Craven. Within the discussion, the user mentions that Season 7 has the “green light.” However, TLC hasn’t officially weighed in on the status of the show as of yet. Additionally, TLC is notorious for waiting until a few weeks before the premiere to release the information. Generally, they keep the suspense factor amped until they are ready to start promoting the new airing date.
But Olivia Plath interviewed with Pink Shade on October 2 in Episode 857. In her discussions, she alludes to fans “seeing” certain things in the future. Olivia also says she and Veronica Peters have made peace. In the talk, she teases that she thinks Veronica is going to change her mind about her. She adds, “I don’t know what is going to be shown on this season, but I know the tides are going to turn. And Barry doesn’t love her anymore, there’s that.” Seemingly, she is confirming the season is happening.

According to ScreenRant, Welcome To Plathville usually films in the fall and winter months. However, another Redditor believed it would be filmed in the summer.
