Captain Jason Chambers Teases Cast Firings

Below Deck Down Under star, Captain Jason Chambers is back for Season 3 of the hit Bravo reality series. Fans have been chomping at the bit for the show to return and it is not just the drama that comes with it. Viewers love Jason and think that he is quite desirable. When BravoCon 2023 occurred in Las Vegas, many female Bravolebs wanted a chance with Jason. RHOM’s Adriana de Moura confessed that she and the yacht captain went on a handful of dates and smooched on the beach. That did not go anywhere in the end.

He did confess that he was interested in Southern Charm alum, Olivia Flowers and former Vanderpump Rules star, Lala Kent. Kent was not opposed to seeing what could happen but it ended up just being a sweet photo. RHOBH star, Sutton Stracke shared her interest in him but felt he might be too young. They met and hugged but it did not go very far. So, having the show renewed serves a bevy of purposes. Now, he is opening up about what viewers can expect for Season 3 of Down Under. Captain Jason made it clear that not everyone will survive until the season finale so buckle up.

According to Us Weekly, Captain Jason Chambers, who was recently diagnosed with melanoma, compared some of the crew to a “cancer”:

“I do cut some cancer out. No pun intended since I just had a melanoma cut out. But I do get on top of some things — whether it is a termination or not — you’ll have to wait and see.”

So, it seems he is being evasive when it comes to who will stay and who will get kicked to the curb. However, Jason is very serious this season and he is holding nothing back, especially when it comes to the tension between the chief stew and bosun:

“Obviously, as a captain, I wouldn’t think that would be the case. I would actually think I’d be worrying more about the junior [members] than the heads of department who should actually be professional enough and experienced enough to be able to get through the hurdles that are there.”

Where Does The Drama End?

After seeing the drama and tension on Below Deck Down Under, where does the drama end? Captain Jason Chambers has to do his best to keep everyone even-keeled for a great experience. Ultimately, he followed his gut in every situation:

“If you’ve seen me on seasons 1 and 2, I’m all about positivity and team’s that run themselves. I’m not here to micromanage you. I’m here to help. Our end goal is to get to a point where we do grow, succeed and give the guests everything they want. That is a simple task to follow, isn’t it?”

Though it seems easier said than done, he just wants things to run smoothly. Unfortunately, it looks like he may have to lay the hammer down in Season 3, and not everyone is going to like it. After seeing the Season 3 premiere, viewers could already sense there would be a lot of drama and they were ready.
