The one thing that this family does consistently is bring the drama, and in this regard, they did not disappoint.
As 1000-lb Sisters fans saw, that beef between Tammy Slaton and Amanda Halterman went on for some time, and it even threatened to ruin the big family trip to the UK. Luckily, though, with how intensely the siblings fight, they always make up eventually, and that’s another thing that viewers can count on when it comes to this family.
Amanda Halterman Shares Scary Throwback With Tammy Slaton
With everything that Amanda Halterman and Tammy Slaton have been through over the years, Amanda recently shared a scary throwback with Tammy, at a point where the family was convinced that they may have lost her for good.
The flashback that Amanda included in her social media update was from February 2017. At that time, Tammy was in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. A pulmonary embolism occurs when one or more arteries in the lungs become blocked by a blood clot.
This typically occurs when a blood clot from the legs travels to the lungs. Some symptoms include sudden shortness of breath and chest pain.

As much as Amanda Halterman and Tammy Slaton can be at each other’s throats, at the end of the day, they are blood, and they look out for one another. Along with sharing this throwback with Tammy from 2017, Amanda wrote about how thankful she is that God decided to keep Tammy around.
