‘Southern Charm’ Sienna Evans Was A ‘PR Solution’?
Was Southern Charm newbie and Shep Rose’s girlfriend, Sienna Evans, used as a “PR solution”? Shep ended Season 9 on an all-time low as he confessed he had a serious drinking problem. Yet, he was not doing much to fix his behavior. So, was Sienna brought in to save Shep? Keep reading for more details.
Sienna Evans Just A ‘PR Solution’?
Shep Rose has always been a questionable cast member on Southern Charm. He floats around, gets involved in people’s business, does not really work, and breaks hearts. For two years, he was involved with Taylor Ann Green and the two were in love. They traveled and she gave up her life for him until she learned that he had been unfaithful. That broke her heart and she returned to Charleston essentially unraveling. She sent nudes to Whitney Sudler-Smith and kissed Shep’s best friend, Austen Kroll. The whole season was Shep being mad at Taylor and Austen but also very confused.
By the time the reunion rolled around, he confessed he had a drinking problem and then went on a retreat to heal. When Season 10 began, Shep had a new girlfriend, Miss Bahamas aka Sienna Evans. He claimed he wanted to have children with her and he was head over heels. She did come to meet his friends as well as Taylor Ann Green which went well. However, in a recent episode, he could not get a hold of her and that sent Shep spiraling. It has been alleged that she had a boyfriend all along and was playing Shep or was Bravo playing the viewers?

Southern Charm fans have grown suspicious of this relationship between Shep and Sienna Evans. They do not feel that it is genuine and a tad disingenuous. So much so that a Reddit thread was started to discuss her purpose on the show:
- I don’t think they were ever a thing, she was a PR solution to make him look better & to give her more TV exposure.
Is It For Real?
Fans of the hit Bravo reality series have softened toward Shep Rose in Season 10. Whether that has anything to do with Sienna Evans or not is yet to be seen. She has been talked about a lot but not seen. They have discussed a trip to the Bahamas to visit her but, again, there has been speculation she is playing him. So, what did fellow Southern Charm fans think of her being cast to make Shep look better? They did not think it worked in the slightest:
- Then it backfired. Who wants exposure in the form of ”she’s a fan who weaselled her way into the Bravoverse”?
- Exactly it backfired!
- He deserved to get played. He’s a joke.
So, if she was there for the right or wrong reasons, it seems she may have only made Shep look worse and that is sad.
