‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Puts Kody’s Financial Lies On Blast

On this season of Sister Wives, Kody Brown’s financial decisions have been a hot topic of contention. As he points fingers at Janelle Brown, she maintains she was simply the family’s bookkeeper and nothing more.
But as Season 19 continues, it’s abundantly clear that Janelle isn’t willing to put up with Kody’s lies any longer. In fact, fans think she’s having a bit of fun putting him on blast.
Christine & Janelle Brown Spill The Tea In Sunday’s Episode
Christine and Janelle Brown may no longer be spiritual sister wives. However, they’ve formed a life-long friendship that lives on even after they’ve left polygamy behind. Now that they’ve moved on to the next chapter of their lives, they’re exposing their ex-husband’s dark secrets.

In Sunday night’s new episode, viewers saw Janelle and Christine discuss the family finances. For years, fans knew the adults relied on a combined family fund to purchase things. Supposedly, all the adults contributed to the pot and then the family would pay for different expenses out of it.
It was supposed to benefit everyone, but the ex-wives believe it really only benefited Kody and Robyn. In a recent episode, Meri recalled paying into the fund but somehow the money was never used for her expenses.
In the episode, Janelle discusses how she thought it would benefit the entire family and eventually come back to her if she helped pay for Robyn’s home. When the family sold her Las Vegas house, they used the money to purchase Robyn’s Flagstaff residence.

But if anyone calls Kody or Robyn out on the unfairness, they balk at the situation.
“And they’re always trying to revise history about how things were paid or what was paid,” Janelle shared in annoyance.
Kody & Robyn Brown Don’t Agree
Of course, Kody and Robyn Brown always seem to have a different narrative than the rest of the family. As Janelle and Christine complained about how unfairly they were treated, Kody and Robyn defended themselves in confessionals.
Robyn claims the money situation was always balanced and fair. Meanwhile, Kody insists that Janelle chose the RV instead of a house because she was just angry with him. However, Janelle contested that allegation. She shares that Kody was pushing for her to move into Christine’s home after she moved to Utah, but she never wanted that. Hence, she chose the RV.
Unless a forensic accountant gets involved, Sister Wives fans may never know the true story about the family’s finances. What do you believe actually happened? Add your own thoughts and ideas to the conversation below.
