Diddy Rushed From Jail To Hospital, Is He Okay?

Sean “Diddy” Combs has made headlines over the months following his September indictment. During this time, he has been held within a Brooklyn detention center. However, it’s recently come to light that the mogul was recently rushed to a hospital from his cell.
Diddy Was Taken To The Hospital Under The Cover Of Night
Back in September, Diddy was arrested under a variety of charges, including sex trafficking. Since then, he has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Over the months, Diddy’s legal team had proposed at least three failed bail attempts to see the mogul released on house arrest. Diddy notably spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas behind bars.

However, as noted by The New York Post, Diddy was recently taken to a hospital from his prison cell. Sources shared that that Combs was taken to the hospital this past Thursday at around 10 PM ET.
Diddy was taken to Brooklyn Hospital for a noninvasive MRI test. This procedure generates images of internal structures, such as bones, muscles, and blood vessels.
Reportedly, the hospital visit was conducted late at night to avoid speculation from other inmates or even prison staff. However, law enforcement officials were given some prior warning, “just in case it was leaked and they would have chaos.”
Diddy Has Had At Least Four Knee-Related Surgeries Over The Years
A source claimed Diddy was taken to the hospital because his “knee was bothering him.” The MRI only took a few hours, Afterward, Combs did not stay in the hospital overnight and has since returned to his cell.
It was also noted that Diddy has had a long history with knee problems. By 2020, he had undergone his fourth knee surgery in two years. Around the time, he shared on Instagram Stories, “I’m clumsy, I trip, I fall, I fall in holes. It’s always been like that. This is my fourth surgery in two years. I’ve had two rotator cuffs, a knee replacement, and now it’s on quad.”

As shared by Page Six, there had been rumors that Combs allegedly was recently involved in a fight. However, another source denied these claims.
Once the MRI was finished, Combs was taken back to his cell. In a statement with The Post, a spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons shared, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody to include medical status or medical trips.”
At this time, Combs is expected to remain behind bars until his upcoming trial. His trial is currently scheduled for May 5, 2025.
