‘Price Is Right’ Fans Notice Models Missing, What Happened?

This week saw The Price is Right fans see something concerning about the popular game show. In the series, Drew Carey brought up all the contestants and gave away some great prizes. However, fans mentioned that there was a huge difference and something was missing from the show. According to some fans, models were missing this week.
Here is what the fans had to say and the reason for the missing models.
Fans Say The Price is Right Is Missing Models
This week, The Price is Right had several big winners, and Drew Carey made it just as fun as normal. However, looking at the episodes, some fans noticed a strange difference. While there are usually several familiar models on each episode, this week saw very few appear on the game show.
In a Reddit thread, one fan named ChuckEsBiggestNYFan started a conversation about there being a “model shortage” on the Wednesday episode. They wrote, “Currently watching the new episode on CBS, and I’m noticing that Rachel is the only model there. Is it common for new episodes to have like one or two models?”
This led to several fans talk about model shortages and how some episodes seem to have more than others:
- “1 model shows are uncommon. I once attended a taping where only James was available; a production assistant had to SPRINT out into Door 2 to hand him the price tag for 1 Right Price.”
- “It’s happened before. Last minute illness & no replacement nearby.”
- “2 models is the norm now. I guess the other model was absent on the day of taping.”
Why Are There Fewer The Price is Right Models This Week?
There was no reason given for why Rachel was the only model working on The Price is Right on Wednesday. One fan even noted that on a game that required two models, announcer George Grey came onto the stage and served in the second role.
There are several models on The Price is Right. Manuela Arbelaez joined the cast in 2009. Amber Lancaster has been there since 2008. Rachel Reynolds joined the show in 2003. Alexis Gaube has been with the show since 2021. There are also two male models. Devin Goda signed on in 2018, and James O’Halloran joined in 2014.
With Rachel as the only model there, one reason fans guessed was illness. The flu is running rampant in the United States right now, and California is considered one of the high-risk stages in the country right now. There are also wildfires that have disrupted people’s lives.
The Price is Right is filmed at Haven Studios in Glendale, California.

I miss Devin Goda !!!! He was one of the reasons I watched the show . Please bring him back Thank you !!!!
While Rachael can do it alone it is good to sè Amber. If there are 2 just maybe a bikini will pop up. It keeps me watching.
Bring back Devin Goda !!! He was the only reason for watching the show when he went shirtless. It was something exciting on daytime tv. Please bring him back Thank you !!!!
