‘The Flip Off’ Christina Haack Admits Doing Things That Aren’t Right

HGTV star Christina Haack admittedly “loves love.” Unfortunately, she hasn’t been so lucky in her romantic pursuits. After three divorces, the real estate professional is looking back on her failed marriages and examining what exactly went wrong.
It generally takes two to end a relationship, but viewers watched Christina uncover a huge self-realization during the premiere of The Flip Off.
Christina Haack Reflects On Her Unlucky Love Life
During The Flip Off series premiere, celebrity designer Christina Haack admitted she never wanted to be divorced at all — much less three times. After ending her marriage to Tarek El Moussa in 2016, she’s knowingly rushed into new relationships that ultimately don’t pan out. She had good intentions, but her marriages didn’t live up to her expectations.
Viewers watched the mother of three address the situation on Wednesday night.

“I feel like I try to hide and act like I’m not affected but then I just do more stupid things to try to make myself feel better,” Christina confessed to Tarek through tears during the series premiere. “I just keep doing it and getting into things too fast that I know aren’t right.”
Before long, Tarek became misty-eyed as well. He and Christina may no longer be married, but he cares for her as the mother of his oldest children.
“I never wanted to get divorced. I’m the only person in my family to ever get a divorce. So I just felt like it’s safe to be back in a relationship, but ultimately, that was not safe either,” Christina continued in a confessional.
Not long after finalizing her divorce from Tarek El Moussa, she married British entertainer Ant Anstead. They had one son together before divorcing in 2021. Not long after that marriage ended, she met and married Josh Hall.
The Celebrity Designer Felt Uncomfortable Rewatching The Footage
Christina Haack feels tremendously proud of her new show. However, that didn’t make it any easier to watch the series premiere. In a new interview, she admitted feeling stressed out while watching the episode.
“My concern was how Josh was going to react to being able to film with [Tarek and Heather], because they are naturals and they’re both very good on camera,” she told Yahoo Entertainment, noting that she and Josh never filmed well together. “So watching that back, I was like, ‘Oh gosh.’ It just makes me feel so stressed to watch it back, because that really was the dynamic at play, and it wasn’t fun.”
