Is ‘On Patrol: Live’ Leaving Peacock?

The series On Patrol: Live has quickly developed a fan-base since its release back in 2022. Fans who enjoy streaming the series, whether to watch old episodes or general, might be in for some bad news. There is some speculation the series is leaving Peacock, with fans discussing what happens next.
Streaming Fans Are Worried About On Patrol: Live This March
On Patrol: Live is a reality television series that revolves around ride-along with American law enforcement agencies. The series is notably hosted by Dan Abrams, who also hosted Live PD, among others, such as retired Tulsa Police Department Sergeant Sean “Sticks” Larkin.
The series came out in 2022 on Reelz. That said, the series has already had over 200 episodes, airing around 128 to 177 minutes, across three seasons. In addition, Reelz also formed a streaming deal with Peacock.

Despite this, some fans are starting to worry that the series could soon be coming to an end on Peacock. Taking to Reddit, one fan shared, “Logged into Peacock to watch some season 1 episodes (didn’t discover OPL until this past summer), and noticed it’s leaving on March 1. I’m guessing there’s hope the agreement will be renewed.”
Notably, this is all the more important as there’s more to the series to enjoy. As revealed by TV Line, On Patrol: Live has been renewed for a fourth season, made up of 90 new episodes.
This will take the series well into 2026. The lead-in spinoff, On Patrol: First Shift, has also been extended to another 90 new episodes.
Some Admitted Peacock Is The Main Way They Watch The Series
Taking to the comments, fans of Reddit weighed in on the issue. Many thought it was just a technical issue that could be resolved or suggested other similar theories. Some thought it would be poorly timed considering the renewal.
Some suggested, if it does leave Peacock, it could just switch to another platform. In fact, one fan mused, “Would be nice if Reelz came out with their own app and showed it live but being a smaller station I doubt it ever happens.”

Others pointed out that, even if the series was leaving Peacock, it still had a home on Reelz for now. Some of these comments included:
- “This is probably for the shows that already aired, not the live ones. Just like older seasons of shows on Netflix and Hulu go away.”
- “They’ll lose a ton of their viewership if it does.”
- “This happened a couple months ago and it was a glitch. It’s probably a glitch again. Even if it isn’t, they’d just be removing old backlogged episodes to clear space not getting rid of the show entirely.”
- “Doesn’t mean Reelz is leaving.”
- “They just renewed for another 90 eps. That wouldn’t make sense.”
