‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Blast ‘Goofy’ Puzzles
Wheel of Fortune has been trying new things this season with Ryan Seacrest as the new host. However, while the show is getting some excellent ratings, not everyone is happy about the games lately. On top of some fans feeling the players this season are weaker than usual, many are also frustrated with “goofy” puzzles.
Here is what fans are complaining about now concerning the popular game show.
Wheel Of Fortune Fans Feel Puzzles Are Too Silly
Ryan Seacrest has taken over as the Wheel of Fortune host for Season 42, and the ratings are better than they have been in a long time. Despite that, there are more complaints than ever. Many fans refused to give Ryan a chance after Pat Sajak left. Others are nitpicking gameplay and other things.
However, one of the new complaints is focused on the puzzles themselves. A fan took to Reddit to create a new thread titled: “Are they running out of puzzle ideas???” When discussing the “goofy” and “silly” puzzles, they pointed out one from this last week. The puzzle’s answer was “Cloudy with a chance of snowplows.”
This led to many fans debating the weird puzzles, some of which seem based on the specific week’s theme.
- “My Wheel of Fortune pet peeve is that so many puzzles have to be related to either the prize or some weekly theme. There are an infinite amount of potential puzzles, so why are we limiting ourselves to such specific topics?”
- “This has been a discussion in my house recently lol. The puzzles lately have been so stupid.”
- “Some of the puzzles have been a bit odd, but I do appreciate them trying fun new categories. I’m a bit torn on them tying the puzzles into the theme week.”
This also led to many people to start bashing Ryan Seacrest again.
Not All Fans Are Behind Ryan Seacrest On Wheel Of Fortune
Ryan Seacrest has really fit in well with his new role as the Wheel of Fortune host. While he seemed to make some small mistakes early on, as he got more comfortable, he seemed to have really fit into the role perfectly. Not all fans feel this way.
While many people in that Reddit thread spoke about the silly puzzles, others took aim at Seacrest again. One wrote that they feel Wheel of Fortune has been trying too many different things since Ryan took over as host. Another responded that they are not loving the new season, even though they still watch. They also seemed to blame Ryan for all the bankruptcy spins.
