Joy Behar, best known for hosting The View, is about to come out with a new project. One well-known name is already attached: actress Susan Lucci, best known for her work on All My Children. The upcoming project even brought about a little reunion for the soap opera legend.

Joy Behar’s Project Already Has Quite A Few Names Attached

Behar has been the host of The View since the series started in 1997. However, she’s worn many hats over the years. Beforehand, she’s been a stand-up comedian, a radio talk-show host, and had even been a producer on Good Morning America, in addition to other projects.

However, Behar has recently come out with another new project. The TV personality is set to come out with her own off-Broadway show, My First Ex-Husband.

Playbill has released the following synopsis: “A no-holds-barred series of stories created by the legendary Joy Behar. With razor-sharp wit and zero filters, Joy dives into the messy truths of love, marriage, and divorce, revealing the chaotic, funny, and often eye-opening realities of relationships.”

The show’s first preview is set for January 29, 2025, at the MMAC Theater at 248 West 60th Street in New York. It will then run from February 6 to April 20.

Susan Lucci Will Also Team Up With Another All My Children Alum

The project won’t be a one-woman show. Two cast lists have recently been announced boasting a variety of stars, including actress Susan Lucci. The actress famously played the lead role on the soap, Erica Kane, during its original run from 1970 to 2011.

The first cast will feature Behar with Susie Essman, Tovah Feldshuh, and Adrienne C. Moore. However, the second cast with feature Lucci, Tonya Pinkins, Judy Gold, and Cathy Moriarty.

As noted by Soaps, the second cast is notable as both Lucci and Pinkins are All My Children alumni. Pinkins played Livia Frye, first in the early 1990s, eventually returning in the 2000s.

Taking to Instagram, Lucci has also recently shared a few other recent reunions she’s had with her All My Children co-stars. Recently, the star shared a backstage photo of her with Eden Riegel, who played her character’s daughter, Bianca Montgomery, on the soap.

Back in 2024, Lucci also returned to the screen after a brief hiatus. She appeared in the dark comedy Outcome, which also featured Keanu Reeves, Jonah Hill and Cameron Diaz.
