Jack Wagner Sends Good Wishes To Fellow Hallmark Star Andie MacDowell
When Calls The Heart star Jack Wagner extended a kind message to fellow Hallmark star Andie MacDowell. According to US Magazine, the General Hospital alum “gushed” about MacDowell to the publication. She had recently revealed that she had been dealing with the very painful piriformis syndrome, which is often mistaken for sciatica. He had some comforting words.
I just wish her the best. We manage with these things as we get older. She’s a fighter, man. She’s an old pro. I hope that she continues to battle this and grow stronger.
Andie had recently been on The Drew Barrymore Show revealing that she was dealing with shooting pains down her leg. The pain extended from her hips all the way to her knee. The 66-year-old star of The Way Home assumed that she needed hip replacement surgery. It turns out her obsession with her stationary bike set up the chain of events that led to this painful muscular problem. Sitting for long periods of time is usually the cause of this syndrome, so this was unusual.
Andie told Drew “I thought I was literally falling apart.” After this diagnosis, she has started physical therapy and feels that she is “not falling apart.”
Have Jack Wagner And Andie MacDowell Worked Together Before?
Have Hallmark stars Jack Wagner and Andie MacDowell ever worked together before? Wagner is just a year younger. Therefore, they both had careers during a parallel time. Although they have never worked on anything together, they did meet at a Hallmark “mini press tour.”
Wagner recalls, “We chatted quite a bit. I look at her as a movie start that’s doing television now. She’s very down to Earth. She’s lovely, super talented. She was very inspired and enthusiastic about being on the Hallmark Channel.”
Andie has previously worked with Bold And The Beautiful alum Dylan Neal in Cedar Cove. The Way Home star and The Gourmet Detective star played love interests in this short-lived series.
This all leads to the question of why Hallmark has not paired Jack and Andie as love interests in a romcom or even a mystery series?
