She and Kevin made a video and posted it to Instagram. Ali captioned the video saying, “We found out recently that @kevinmanno has Papillary Thyroid Cancer. Thankfully it’s a very treatable cancer. He has 2 malignant spots on his right side and it appears it is also in one lymph node, but we won’t know for sure until his surgery.”
How Is He Feeling About It And What Is The Plan?
Ali Fedotowsky-Manno asked fans to provide their experiences with thyroid cancer. She noted that they will go in and remove at least half of his thyroid. If the surgeons determine the whole thing needs to be removed then they will go that route.
They will not know how much of his thyroid will have to be removed until they get in there and look.
As for Kevin, he’s handling it all really well. He told fans that he was not freaking out at all. He feels good and the doctors told him that if he was going to have any form of cancer this was the one to have.
In their video, Kevin said, “We always try to be very open and honest. We’re open books with our lives. We want to give you guys a quick update with something that’s happening over here in the Manno family, but I’m not stressing about it.”
