‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Praise Contestant ‘Beer Loving’ Steve
On Wednesday’s episode of Wheel of Fortune, fans found a quick favorite with a constant named Steve. While it is often hard to connect with the players after just one appearance, this guy did enough to make many fans want to see more of him in the future. He even warranted his own Reddit thread.

Wheel of Fortune Fans Love Steve
On Wednesday’s episode of Wheel of Fortune, three players made the entire game enjoyable for viewers. Sabrina is a “montie” who has cared for her nieces for 11 years. Kira is a Washington, D.C. woman who loves the flying trapeze. As for Steve, he likes mowing the lawn, sitting in the hot tub, and drinking beer.
Steve lost on the show, but fans still seemed to fall for the guy. In a Reddit thread dedicated to him, the OP titled it, “Steve from 1/22/24 is my hero.” They went on to write, “Just a really kind dude. Love how the mic pics up on his little encouraging statements. Good vibe. Steve if you ever see this I would have a beer with you.”
This led to many fans chiming in about how much they loved Steve as well:
- “He guessed a W with his first letter of a puzzle. And then chose a vowel right off the bat on the final spin. Dude was a few beers in!!”

What Happened On This Wheel Of Fortune Episode?
Things started great for the ladies. Sabrina and Kira were battling back and forth for much of the show. Sabrina for the $2K Toss-Up (Snuggling Up) and the next one (Lint Roller Coaster). Sabrina then got another in the Mystery Round (Thrills and Chills).
Kira rebounded big time in the Express Road when she got “Hitting the Slopes” and caught up with Sabrina with $9.392 – $9.650. Steve was still at $0. In the Toss-Up Round, Kira got “A Friend Of A Friend” and Sanbtina goit “Long-Lost Friend.” However, no one got the third one because Steve missed it but took so long to say his answer that time ran out on Sabrina.
In Round 4, Steve finally got his first win with “Sugar Bowl,” which gave him $1,000. In the end, Kira had $15,892, Sabrina had $11,650, and Sreve had $1,000. Finally, in the Bonus Round, Kira got “Take Your Time” correct and won a Ford Bronco Sport Badlands worth $41,655.
