Love After Lockup Arthur Henderson’s Prison Sentence Revealed

Arthur Henderson was a bad boy from the start but there seemed to be a chance that he could turn it all around. He was seen trying to make it work with Hope on Love After Lockup whom he had met through a friend of theirs. Unfortunately, they struggled a lot as she was allegedly unfaithful and they were always fighting. Eventually, Arthur was accused of shooting Hope in May 2024 after they got into it and the gun went off.

However, he maintained that she had shot herself, and ultimately, that proved to be true. He was then arrested in September 2024 and it did not bode well for Arthur. The former inmate now had multiple felonies and it was unclear what was going to happen. At the same time, he did not seem convinced he would be spending much time behind bars. He was posting messages to his fans and followers and now, his sentence has been handed down. Per All Things Lockup, Arthur took a plea deal that will give him fourteen years behind bars.

He has already spent four years for theft and evading arrest. This time, Arthur Henderson pleaded guilty to two felony counts of unlawful carrying of a weapon with a prior felony conviction. He will get 243 days credit for the time that he has already served. However, that does not make it any shorter as his sentence is over a decade. As of now, his paperwork does not say if he will be eligible for parole during this time. He is due back in court in February 2025.

Such A Sad End

Many Love After Lockup fans admitted that they were rooting for Arthur Henderson. More so, they are sad to see how his story turned out and wished he had done things differently:

  • I had such high hopes for him. He definitely needs some mental help to work through his problems
  • His mother knew what was best he should’ve just went with her smh sad
  • Damn….. when they say the definition of institutionalized this is what it is.
  • He should have went with his mom and started therapy right away. He needed help and support. He had the saddest eyes. I felt so bad for him.

The common theme was that Arthur should have gone with his mother and maybe, this never would have happened. Hopefully, he will get on a better path but it is devastating it had to come to this.
