Michael Strahan Joins Special To Talk Daughter’s Cancer Journey
Months after Isabella Strahan was able to beat cancer, she and her father, Michael Strahan, are taking part in a primetime special to discuss her health battle. Isabella took fans on her journey thanks to her YouTube channel, and now she is going to open up about her cancer battle as she and her family talk about this challenging time in their lives.

Michael Strahan & Daughter Taking Part In TV Special
Life Interrupted is a television special detailing Isabella Strahan’s cancer battle over the last year. Isabella was diagnosed with brain cancer right as she was preparing to start college at USC after her high school graduation. Michael Strahan will join Isabella in sharing their journey through her courageous battle.
Isabella, one of Michael’s twin daughters, learned about her brain cancer in late 2023. She left her freshman year of college to begin treatment. This included several chemo treatments and multiple surgeries where doctors drained fluid from her head. It was a traumatic experience for the youngster, and Michael was with his daughter every step of the way.
She finished her treatment in the summer of 2024 and finally started college at USC again that fall. Thanks to her vlog, Isabella kept her fans updated, but Life Interrupted will bring her story to people who don’t pay attention to social media and might have missed out on much of her battle.
What Is Life Interrupted On ABC?
One year after Robin Roberts interviewed Michael Strahan and Isabella on Good Morning America in the middle of the cancer battle, the two are taking part in another television special. Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight to Beat Cancer will be a primetime special for the network.

Lara Spencer of Good Morning America reported Michael Strahan’s company, SMAC Productions, and ABC News Studios produced the special. An Instagram post also revealed more about the television special. It reads: “Isabella Strahan, @michaelstrahan’s daughter, is opening up about her brain cancer journey, from diagnosis to recovery, in an upcoming ABC special.”
Isabella’s mother, Jean Muggli, and twin sister, Sophia, will appear in the special. Not only will the TV special outline Isabella’s battle, but it will also feature other cancer patients inspired by her battle.
Life Interrupted with Isabella and Michael Strahan will air on ABC on Wednesday, February 5. The show streams the next day on DIsney+ and Hulu.
