‘Chicago Fire’ Spoilers: Is Joe Cruz Leaving The Show?
Chicago Fire fans are curious if after Joe Cruz was put on a two week suspension will he be leaving the show all together. Soaps She Knows was able to get the spoilers on what is the plan for this character coming up.
What Happened With Chicago Fire’s Joe Cruz?
Joe Cruz has been getting himself into a bit of trouble lately, which landed him a two week suspension. This could mean that he will end up losing his job when that is all over and done. Clear back in Season 1, Cruz left the gang leader of the Insane Kings, Flaco, to burn alive because of his brother being involved with the gang. Things have just gotten worse since then.
It turns out that after some investigation they wouldn’t have been able to save Flaco anyway. No matter what Cruz had done, he was going to die in that fire. This is good for Joe Cruz and he can let some of that guilt go now. He opened up to Kelly Severide about everything and he did the investigation.
Is Cruz Coming Back To The Show?
It turns out that Joe Cruz is coming back to the show. This two-week suspension is just that, and he won’t be leaving long-term. The fans are happy to hear that he will be coming back. Cruz has been through a lot, but he is one of the staples of the show that has been there since Season 1, and it would be heartbreaking if he left. The actor that plays this character is named Joe Minoso and he has a lot of fans who want to see him continue on for years.

On the show, Cruz said, “I want to be the man my son thinks I am.” Hopefully, this means that he will get his act together and quit doing things behind people’s backs. This two-week suspension is the perfect time to think about what has been going on and maybe fix his ways.
