‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Player Knocks Ryan Seacrest Down, Host Suffers Hard Fall
When it came to Ryan Seacrest taking the Wheel Of Fortune hosting gig, most people knew that it would come with a lot of pressure and big shoes to fill. However, based on recent scenes from the popular game show, Ryan needed some accident protection, as he suffered a hard fall. So, what happened in recent scenes?
Wheel Of Fortune: Ryan Seacrest Has Faced A Lot Of Adversity
It is not a stretch to say that no one has faced more criticism, and no one has been under more scrutiny than Ryan Seacrest since he took over the hosting duties at Wheel Of Fortune. Many suspected that there would be a lot of backlash with this changing of the guard. However, things have gone to the next level and beyond.
Ryan Seacrest has done his best and held his own. This is saying a lot when you consider the hostile nature of the environment that he first walked into. Since making his debut as the Wheel Of Fortune host, Ryan has done his best to make this new era his own, including putting his personal stamp on things.
Recent Player Faced Down Final Puzzle
When it comes to playing Wheel Of Fortune, the ultimate goal is to beat out the other competitors in order to advance to the final puzzle, which offers players the chance to add all sorts of prizes to their current totals. In recent scenes, a player was facing down a puzzle in the “Living Things” category.
Following the usual R, S, T, L, N, E and the other additions from the contestant, he was looking at a puzzle that looked just like this: “G _ _ _ _ E S.”
By this point, Wheel Of Fortune competitors have only a matter of seconds to call out the puzzle and potentially land on the winning answer. So, this contestant certainly appeared to have his work cut out for him.
With the clock running down and things coming down to the wire, Daniel called out “Guppies,” which actually turned out to be the winning answer. In his excitement, Daniel hugged Ryan Seacrest, jumped around, and even knocked the host down in the process.
Even though Ryan Seacrest shook it off, this clearly seemed to be a hard fall for the host, and some Wheel Of Fortune fans were concerned for him.
How Much Did Wheel Of Fortune Player Win?
After regaining his composure after this hard fall on the Wheel Of Fortune set, Ryan Seacrest revealed that Daniel’s last-second correct guess won him an impressive $40k, for an even more impressive total of $71,950 in total winnings.
As for his hard fall, Ryan Seacrest played into it, too, as he jokingly backed away from Daniel as he tried to get closer to the host once again.
