‘The View’ Joy Behar Lost Phone Put Al Sharpton At Risk
Joy Behar always has stories she likes to share on The View. Some of them border on bizarre, and others have her co-hosts worrying about her. One of her recent stories is in the latter category, as Joy said that she lost her cell phone once. Not only did she lose it, but she also put Al Sharpton’s privacy at risk.
Here is what Joy said and why this had Ana Navarro shaking her head.
Joy Behar Tells Story Of Losing Cell Phone
The View fans know all about Joy Behar’s cell phone. There was one point that Joy’s phone wouldn’t stop interrupting their discussion on the air. During this disruption, Sara Haines reached over, shut off the phone, and declared she fixed the problem. Another time, Siri spoke up from Joy’s phone to give her directions in the middle of a segment.

However, this instance was not about Joy’s cell phone interrupting the show. Instead, Joy explained how she lost her phone once and then revealed how she got it back. On the episode, Sunny Hostin said that Joy was always trying to get people’s phone numbers to increase the possible collaborators for her New York stage show. Sunny said that Joy even asked Robert De Niro for his phone number once.
Susie Essman said she wasn’t shocked. They then asked Joy how many names she had in her phone’s “Rolodex.” That is when Joy began to tell her story. Joy said that she once lost her phone. Luckily, the person who found it called her on it to let her know.
Joy Behar Almost Gives Away Al Sharpton’s Phone Number
“You know, Susie, one time I lost my phone,” Behar said. “Somebody found it and went to [the home screen] and called me.” She then said that they told her they went to the contact sheet and realized she must have been important because Al Sharpton’s name was in there and “this is an important person.”

That completely shocked Ana Navarro. Joy’s The View co-host said, “Do we need to teach you how to lock your screen?” This was a funny moment, and Ana’s reaction was priceless, but it might be too late for Joy and her phone. The moment that her phone began to speak up as Siri, Sara said that Joy was using it to get directions, but the host said she had no idea how this happened.
There was also a moment when her co-hosts took her phone and walked it off-stage to keep it quiet.
