‘Swamp People’ Battle Cannibal Alligator Ahead Of Hurricane
This week’s episode of Swamp People was incredibly exciting and very tense. The episode saw Bruce Mitchell and Anna Ribbeck hunt a cannibal alligator. Meanwhile, they needed to find and take down this creature before Hurricane Francine hit land. With a ticking clock and a deadly creature, the episode delivered what fans have come to expect from the History Channel series.
Here is what happened with the cannibal alligator.
Swamp People Hunts Down Cannibal Alligator
It is only the third episode of Swamp People Season 16, and things are already getting intense. It is still early on, and the team is already hunting down a monstrous killing machine. They have to stop a cannibal alligator before Hurricane Francine hits landfall. Here is how it all went down.
Every once in a while, the team has to stop a cannibal alligator. These have been around for a long time, and they represent when a big alligator starts eating little alligators. This makes things tough because the hunters capture the little gators, but the big monster eats the little guys before they can get to it.
This episode saw them find one of these cannibal gators. they came to a favored hunting spot and saw that their catches were all eaten up and full of holes. This meant that Bruce Mitchell and Anna Ribbeck needed to set out and take out this monster before it kept eating their catches.
The problem is that as long as the cannibal alligator was eating their catches, they were not meeting their quota. This means they could lose their hunting license with the current landowner. The good news is that they finally found and caught the cannibal alligator, an 11-footer, which saved their hunting grounds.
Swamp People Remaining Exciting This Season
The next episode of Swamp People sounds exciting, too. While there is no cannibal alligator this time around, the hunters have a lot of problems they need to overcome.
The incoming hurricane is what threatens them this time around. According to the synopsis: “Hunters face the dual challenge of navigating a dangerous storm and preserving their season; Ronnie and Timmy bet on a feeding frenzy; Joey and Kallie hunt open waters; Troy and Pickle hunt to the bitter end; Bruce and Anna search for giants.”
With Hurricane Francine closing in, the teams know that they only have a limited time to get their quotas in to save their seasons. However, as they also know, an influx of flooding water could bring in a new threat, and there is no telling what they have to hunt after this.
