Beth Chapman Passed Away In 2019 Due To Throat Cancer
Duane Chapman is arguably better known to fans as “Dog the Bounty Hunter.” The former bail bondsman and bounty hunter was the focus of a variety of reality shows over the years.
Often, Duane appeared alongside his wife Beth Chapman on his shows, which include Dog the Bounty Hunter and Dog and Beth: On the Hunt. Duane and Beth had run Da’Kine Bail Bonds together.

The two had married in 2006 and had two children together, Bonnie Joanne Chapman and Garry Chapman. In addition, both had children from other relationships.
Tragically, Beth lost her life to throat cancer in 2019. She had passed away on June 26 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Beth was 51 at the time of her death. Notably, her cancer diagnosis was depicted in the series, Dog’s Most Wanted, with the final episode dedicated to her.
Since Beth’s passing, as noted by Meaww, Duane had been asked questions about what she was like in real life. In particular, he had been asked if she had any talents her fans didn’t know about.

As Meaww noted, the clip reflects Beth’s lively personality, even amid her cancer diagnosis. In a conversation with People, Beth was quoted as saying, “I knew I couldn’t let it take me over. I had to keep moving, every day, moving forward.”
“That’s all you can do when you get a diagnosis like this. So I take it each day at a time. And I’ll fight it with all that I have.”
Duane shared similar sentiments about Beth in a press conference with Hawaii News Now. As he was quoted, “Her way was to live.”
“She wanted to live so bad and she fought so long, and the reason she fought, she liked life but she wanted to show people how to beat it and what to do when it got her. One of the last things she said [was] ‘It’s a test of my faith.’ She had faith and that was it…”
