Caitlyn Jenner Finally Apologizes For Abandoning Son

Caitlyn Jenner has had a rough several years with her children, especially after her transition. However, now, one of her kids is speaking up. Apparently, she recently apologized for all the hurt she caused. Keep reading for all of the details.

Caitlyn Jenner’s Son Opens Up

When someone thinks of Caitlyn Jenner’s children, they may think of Kendall and Kylie Jenner. However, those aren’t the only two kids Caitlyn has. She also has three sons and another daughter. Now, one of those sons is speaking up People says. Brody Jenner is on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test where he is getting candid about his past.Apparently, the hurt starts years ago, when Brody was just a little boy.

“I’d randomly see him — ‘him’ at the time — you know, here and there,” Brody says about his childhood. “But, mom would tell me that I would write on cards, ‘Why doesn’t dad call me on my birthday?'”

Brody continues to recall that while his mother was amazing, his father was never around. Of course, Kris Jenner has a big hand in that as she was the new wife.

“I had an incredible mother. Father, Bruce, at the time, wasn’t around that much. They split, and then he met a woman. She had kids as well. The woman that he met … they had kids together.”

Those kids together were, of course, Kendall and Kylie. Brody’s dad, Bruce at the time, ended up getting quite famous off of the family TV show Keeping up with the Kardashian’s which highlighted Kris and Bruce’s life together as they were raising Kendall and Kylie and of course, Kris’ daughters and son.

Needless to say, that was a lot for Brody to handle.

“To be honest, a little bit abandoned,” he says.

However, things seem to be turning around for Caitlyn and her son. Apparently, she has finally apologized to Brody for the first time ever.

“Just recently, I got a real, sincere apology,” Brody explains. “It was the first time in my life that I’ve ever gotten an apology. You know, I’m sorry for not being there, and honestly, it meant a lot.”

Not Letting History Repeat Itself

Now, Brody is a dad himself, and he’s making sure he doesn’t do what Caitlyn did to him.

“I think it’s gonna make me a better father,” Brody says. “I’m gonna do the exact opposite of, as far as being there for her, as my father did for me.”
